Anderson Ranch Evening with the Artists Date(s): 07/27/08 Time: 7 p.m.  Details: Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Schermer Meeting Hall Posey Bacopoulos has been a studio potter in New York City for more than 20 years. Her work has been exhibited in numerous national and international shows, and has recently been published in The Art of Contemporary American Pottery and in several Lark Book titles, including 500 Pitchers and 500 Cups. Dan Essig is a full-time studio artist living in Asheville, NC. He teaches book arts workshops at book centers, craft schools and colleges. His work has been shown at Water Works Visual Arts Center in Salisbury, NC, and in the Contemporary Reliquary exhibit at the Northern Arizona University Art Museum. Many of his books are featured in The Penland Book of Handmade Books. danielessig.com Nathan Carter lives and works in New York City, and taught at the MIT VIsual Arts Program. He exhibits nationally and internationally including shows at Artpace in San Antonio, Esther Schipper in Berlin and Da2 Contemporary Art Center in Salamanca, Spain and the Tate London.
