Anderson Ranch Evening with the Artists

Richard Notkin a full-time studio artist in Helena, MT, has conducted over 250 workshops and lectures worldwide. His ceramic sculptures and teapots are in numerous public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; and Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, Japan. His awards include fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation, and three fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. He was recently featured in the PBS series, “Craft in America.”

Karen Kunc is the Willa Cather Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and she has taught numerous workshops around the world, including, most recently, at the Academy of Fine Art, Helsinki, Finland, and the Santa Reparata International School of Art, Florence, Italy. Recent solo exhibitions include those at Huntington Museum of Art, WV; Bemis Contemporary Art Center, Omaha; and Piano Nobile Gallery, Krakow, Poland. In 2007 she received the Printmaker Emeritus Award from the Southern Graphics Council.

Tom Hucker was educated at Boston University with Jere Osgood and Alphonse Matia, also studied at the Donus Academy in Milan, Italy. His work is in the permanent collections at the Boston Museum of Fine Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Detroit Institute of Art, the Cooper Hewitt, and the Renwick Gallery. He works full-time in his studio in Hoboken, NJ.
