Amy Arbus’s most recent book, On the Street 1980-1990, received a Lucie Award and was cited by Time Magazine as one of the Five Best Photography Books of 2006. She teaches portraiture at the International Center of Photography in New York and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA. Her most recent show was at Colette in Paris. She has had 20 solo exhibitions worldwide, and her photographs are a part of the collections of the New York Public Library and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Stephen Hogbin is a Canadian artist and designer. He is the author of three books, including Woodturning: the Purpose of the Object, Appearance and Reality: A Visual Guide as well as countless articles in Fine Woodworking, Woodwork, Turning Points and elsewhere. Stephen studied at the Royal College of Art and has been teaching about design and the creative process all over the world for more than 30 years. makersgallery.com/hogbin
Nathan Lynch, a sculptor and performance artist, has made collaboration and experimentation major components of his practice. In 2007 he had solo exhibitions at Johansson Projects, Oakland, CA, and Southern Exposure, San Francisco. Lynch studied with Ken Price at the University of Southern California and Ron Nagle at Mills College.
